30th Contracting Squadron (30 CONS) Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB), CA, intends to issue a sole-source procurement for commercial internet services for S4S. Market research indicates that Inyo Networks, Inc. has existing IT infrastructure at the S4S facility. The Government has determined that competing this requirement would result in substantial duplication of cost that would not be recoverable through competition.
The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 517111 - Wired Telecommunications Carriers, with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The proposed contract will be solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
This notice serves as a notification of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received by 1:00PM PT, March 25, 2025.
