The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command (COMUSNAVSO) to KVH Industries, Inc., to provide antenna airtime and maintenance to support the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS) Fly Away Kits (CFAK) utilizing the KVH Trac-Phone V3-HTS antenna system and airtime plans. The CENTRIXS Fly Away Kits are utilized for UNITAS and PANAMAX JCS exercises with Partner Nations. Maintenance on the KVH V3-HTS antenna systems is required to be serviced and repaired locally within a 72-hour turnaround time to ensure operations are not impacted.
The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price sole source award to KVH Industries, Inc. KVH Industries is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the V3-HTS hardware systems that contains proprietary hardware and software that works exclusively on the KVH broadband network.
The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work falls under is 517410, Satellite Telecommunications and potential Product Service Code (PSC) is D304 - IT and Telecom - Network As A Service with a Standard Business of $44M.
