This is a notice of intent to issue sole source modifications to existing task orders, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for these actions is 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 3204(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to issue one year (three 4-month option periods), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) sole source modifications to Applied Research Associates Inc. (ARA) under seven existing task orders. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete these actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors must respond to this notice on or before the specified response date and time by sending an email to megan.e.faherty.civ@mail.mil.
