Description
Pursuant to (FAR) 13.106-1(b), The National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Directorate for STEM Education (EDU) intend to negotiate a sole source purchase order with the National Student Clearinghouse for Student Data Collection.
The Clearinghouse provides a nationwide, central repository for student record data for postsecondary educational institutions that have appointed the Clearinghouse as a “school official” for purposes of reporting the enrollment and educational achievements of their students to authorized recipients, pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) (specifically, 34 CFR 99.31(a)).
The National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) is the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
