THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River intends to award a Sole Source modification under existing Task Order N0042119F0422 under GSA Alliant 2 Contract Number 47QTCK18D0007 to Smartronix Inc. (SMX), for continued IT Support Services for the operations, maintenance, and Information Technology (IT) engineering activities located at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River and remote support to areas outside of Patuxent River. This acquisition is a bridge effort for continued contract support until the competitive follow-on contract is awarded. The period of performance for this bridge effort is anticipated to be 17 February 2025 to 01 November 2025. The primary place of performance is Patuxent River, MD.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract or modification.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
