Description
The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) intends to award a sole source purchase order to OFIL USA LTD of Lawrenceville, GA for the DayCor Luminar-HD UV-Visible bi-spectral Solar Blind Handheld HD Corona Camera.
WAPA-s asset management program currently relies on UV imaging cameras for inspecting transmission lines for corona discharge around EHV end fittings on Non-Ceramic Insulators. Additionally, this sole source requirement includes OFIL product training which provides continuity in employee training.
