THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Roseburg VA Medical Center intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source to:
Olympus America, Inc.
3500 Corporate PKWY
Center Valley, PA, 18034

The objective of this sole source award is to initiate a new firm-fixed price contract for a base + option maintenance/repair for five Olympus OER-Elite Reprocessors.
The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811210; the large business size standard is $35 million.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All information received by 08:00 A.M. PST on March 24, 2025 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Gregory Watson, Contract Specialist at Gregory.watson2@va.gov. The email subject line shall state, “Intent to Sole Source Roseburg Olympus OER-Elite Reprocessor”. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
