Notice of Intent to Sole SourceThis Notice of Intent to Sole Source is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1). This notice is to advise public that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Priced, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with only one (1) source, One Lambda Inc. The procurement is for Labtype molecular SSO typing reagents, which will be used to perform HLA testing for recipient/donor transplantation at the VA Iowa City Health Care System.This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) and 41 USC §1901, only one (1) will meet the Government s needs. Only one (1) source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services.
