NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East (RPOE), Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4) intends to award a sole source contract pursuant to FAR 19.1406 to Thundercat Technology LLC located at 11190 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 200, Reston, VA 20191. Thundercat Technology is the exclusive, authorized federal dealer/reseller of PENTAX Medical products and services.The VA Philadelphia Health Care System requires a PENTAX Medical Video Naso-Pharyngo-Laryngoscope System. This is a brand name only requirement. The PENTAX Medical Video Naso-Pharyngo-Laryngoscope System is optimized for screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic treatment in the upper airway. The system shall be provided for the Department of Veterans Affairs Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Philadelphia, PA 19104. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any responsible firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification and capability statements prior to the response due date and time. Vendors shall indicate if they are the direct supplier or service provider of the items and/or authorized reseller/distributor.
