The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to QuidelOrtho Corporation.
This is a service agreement for the VITROS 3600 equipment belonging to the Laboratory branch, Division of Viral Hepatitis, includes Reagents, calibrators, control, diluent, check 1 and check 2, wash buffer, signal reagents and consumables to be used in conjunction with the VITROS 3600 Immunodiagnostic system, manufactured by QuidelOrtho Clinical Diagnostics. All repairs, labor and travel incur during service call for the instrument listed in the contract. This service agreement includes one annual preventive maintenance. The agreement also includes field application technical support on-site.
This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP).
Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are hereby afforded the opportunity to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice their written capabilities statement and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. Any product and pricing information should be emailed to Leyla Campbell at xuo3@cdc.gov by February 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM ET. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, prior to an award of a federal contract.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will review any/all product, capabilities, and pricing information submitted within 15 days of the issuance of this notice and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide this requirement. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
