  NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR RENTAL OF DEMOLITION MOBILE SHEARThis is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using FederalAcquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-l(b)(1). The US Army Contracting Command -Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Installation & Technology Division 6472 Integrity Court, Building 4401Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; has a requirement to procure the following service:
  PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:
  The objective of this contract is to rent one (1) demolition mobile shear to conduct destructionor mutilation of all explosively treated, empty or inert filled munitions located at I-Field, APG-S, MD.
  The Period of Performance for the base period of six (6) weeks from Sept 2025 to October 2025.
  Contractor, shall furnish the necessary resources (except those specifically designated asGovernment-furnished) to perform the following work:1. Rental of Excavator with Demolition Mobile Shear: The contractor shall provide rental of heavyequipment specified in this PWS.2. Delivery: The contractor shall transport and deliver rented equipment to designated location specified inthis PWS.3. Maintenance: The contractor will perform maintenance of the demolition shear blades at I-Field, APG,MD when requested by CARA-RRE UXO team.4. Pick Up: The contractor will pick up rented equipment at designated location specified in this PWS.
  The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to MIKE BEELER EQUIPMENT SERVICES 1974 S. BLACK HORSE PIKE WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ 08094. MIKE BEELER EQUIPMENT SERVICES is the current and previous contract holder. The continued need for the preventive maintenance, and as-needed repairs of Heavy Mobile Shear Equipment Rental , has been deemed critical.
