The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source bridge contract on behalf of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner Systems (AFMES) to SNA International, LLC. located at 500 Montgomery Street, Suite 500, Alexandria, VA 22314 under the authority as prescribed by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for Non-Personal Scientific, Technical, Administrative and Logistical Support Services (STALSS).AFMES is the Department of Defense?s (DoD) leader in providing medicolegal services and emerging technologies essential for the readiness, sustainability, and survivability of our service members. As the only death investigation system for the United States (U.S.) Federal Government, AFMES is the only medical examiner system authorized to support the DoD with comprehensive forensic investigative services, to include forensic pathology, DNA Forensics, Forensic Toxicology, and Medical Mortality Surveillance.
