The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed price purchase order to AB Sciex LLC, located at 1201 Radio Rd, Redwood City, CA 94065, on a firm fixed price sole source award basis to provide maintenance and service to the SCIEX QTRAP 6500 at the National Institutes of Health CPL.
This procurement covers the annual SCIEX FlexPlan service contract with Software Plus coverage for the QTRAP 6500 mass spectrometer. Services include:
One preventive maintenance visit per year
All remedial repair labor, parts, and travel
Guaranteed two-business-day on-site response
Software updates and eligible upgrades
Online and phone-based technical support
Discounts on validation, compliance, and additional licenses
The SCIEX QTRAP 6500 is a proprietary mass spectrometer with hardware and software systems developed by AB SCIEX LLC. Continued optimal performance and regulatory compliance require that service and software support be provided directly by the manufacturer. The FlexPlan includes services tailored to the instrument-s internal components, firmware, and software integration, which are unavailable through third-party vendors.
