Peters VAMC has a requirement for an FCC compliant endoscopy surgical system that is compatible with the medical centers existing Stryker equipment. Market research was conducted in accordance with FAR Part 10, and identified the 1688 Stryker Endoscopic Surgical System as capable of meeting the mandatory minimum requirements established by the VA: Camera control unit (CCU) must be both 1080p and 4K compatible within the same console.Must have integrated device control from camera head.Must have shutter lighting automatic adjustment technology built into camera and light source.Light source must have safety feature designed to turn the light off when the cable is disconnected.Must have near-infrared (NIR) illumination for fluorescence imaging using indocyanine green (ICG) and transillumination of the ureters.Must be compatible with existing Stryker arthroscopy cannulas and hardware.In accordance with FAR Part 8.405-6, it has been determined that only one source is reasonably available to meet the minimum salient characteristics and compatibility required; No other systems were identified in the market research phase.
