The 35th Contracting Office at Misawa Air Base, Japan intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) and DAFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 3572, the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). The associated NAICS code for this is 333310.
The sole-source contract will be awarded to: ACTION TARGET INC. (hereby the proposed vendor), 3411 S Mountain Vista PKWY, Provo, Utah 84606-5563 United States. CAGE Code: 0N2W7
The proposed vendor is the only known vendor to provide replacements parts and perform rebuild work to the existing Total-Containment-Trap (TCT) in Misawa Air Base. The existing TCT was installed in 2003 by Action Target Inc. and its replacement parts and incidental work to remove and install the replacement parts are required.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 10:00AM (Japan Standard Time) on 1 Aug 2025. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government-s need as stated above. Include any relative information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to tomoko.asai.jp@us.af.mil. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
