DescriptionIntent to Sole Source 36C24225Q0966. This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, Regional Procurement Office - East, on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, James J Peters VA Medical Center, 130 W Kingsbridge Rd, Bronx, NY 10468 intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Tekton CC, LLC for Vacuum Pump System Replacement, in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.303-2. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, material, and special equipment necessary to perform the installation of a new EMSE stack mounted Medical Vacuum System at the James J. Peters V.A. Medical Center Campus located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468. Construction will include but not be limited to the demolition and removal of old equipment, new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls and painting as well as other design considerations for the replacement of the medical vacuum system. The medical vacuum system must remain fully operational throughout the replacement process. The vacuum system must be replaced in kind or with approved similar components with the proper authorization from the James J Peters VA Medical Center. This sole source award to Tekton CC, LLC, is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
