In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, ScriptPro USA, Inc., located at 5828 Reeds Road, Mission, KS 66202-2740:ITEM #DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIESQTYUNIT OF ISSUECLINsSee Attached SpreadsheetVISN 19 proposes to enter into a firm-fixed price, base plus four option year contract for ScriptPro upgrades, replacement equipment, maintenance and support for the robotic prescription medication dispensing systems used to fill patients prescriptions across eight (8) medical facilities within VISN 19. The upgrades include installation of replacement servers, software upgrades, workstations, and robot replacements. The service is required for Automated Robotic Medication Prescription Dispensing systems, Platforms with Central Expanded Servers and Datapoints, Pharmacy management systems, pharmacy data terminals, pharmacy printers, electronic signature devices, prescription notice boards mobile checkpoints and software, virus protection interface, and all necessary setup, interface, and system integration for the equipment.ScriptPro USA Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the requested dispensing system and is the only source capable of providing the required updates, hardware, software, and system support that is required. ScriptPro equipment and software is only compatible with existing equipment and software. The software is proprietary to ScriptPro, and no other distributors are authorized to sell their upgrades, replacement parts, maintenance, and support. To replace the current equipment with another manufacturer s product is estimated to cost the government an additional $11,000,000.00 and is cost prohibitive which is not in the best interest of the Government.The associ... - Documents:
