Notice of Intent to Sole Source
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, Fort Carson Bliss Contracting Branch intends to award a sole source contract with Sirtex Medical Inc. for the SIR-Sphere Y-90 Resin Microspheres supplies. Sirtex Medical Inc is the only food and drug administration premarket approval for colorectal cancer specific both hepatocellular and metastatic colorectal cancer that spreads to the liver for services at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) Fort Bliss, Texas.
The sole source contract will have a period of performance is 01 OCT 2025 to 30 Sept 2026. The NAICS code 325412, size standard is $1300 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
The solicitation number is W81K00-26-Q-A032 and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
