The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Steris Corporation, located at 5960 Heisley Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060-1834. Services will be from 05/01/2023 through 04/30/2024 with four 12 month ordering periods under NAICS 811210. The Vendor shall provide preventive maintenance and repair services to include cleaning, calibrating, adjusting, and replacement of work or defective parts and troubleshooting on all Steris Sterilizing Machines for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), located at Little Rock, AR and North Little Rock, AR. This action will result in a firm-fixed-price service contract. The period of performance shall be for twelve months (12) months beginning May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024 with four (4) additional twelve (12) month ordering periods. Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services applies.This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement not later than 03/28/2023 at 12:00 PM CST, to lonest.bonton@va.gov. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to number 36C25623Q0616, Notice of Intent in the subject line. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services.
