The authority found at 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 41 U.S.C 1901 allows for this requirement to be met directly from Monaco Enterprises Inc. On 19 May 2023, a memorandum was issued by Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) to standardize fire alarm panels and the respective systems.
