The 60th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Advanced Office Systems, Inc. for the acquisition of 2 Megamat RS 350 vertical carousels.
Advanced Office Systems, Inc. is the sole and exclusive authorized factory sales and service dealer for all KardexRemstar equipment in the territory of Northern California. As a KardexRemstar dealer, Advanced Office Systems, Inc. is required to participate in company sponsored certification training programs for all sales and service personnel. This requirement not only assures our customers of continued quality service but also supports our commitment to all our products, irrespective of any changes due to the introduction of enhancements and improvements. To further support this initiative, KardexRemstar has elected to sell our products and service parts only through KardexRemstar factory authorized dealers. Please note, KardexRemstar does not assume any liability for equipment failure or personal injury if service is performed by any organization or individual who is not factory authorized, trained and/or does not use new Kardex Remstar factory replacement parts. Furthermore, all warranties will be null and void if factory sales or services are provided by noncertified Kardex Remstar authorized service and sales resellers.
The 60th Contracting Sqadron conducted market reasearch and confirmed that Advanced Office Systems, Inc. is the sole and exexclusive distributor of KardexRemstar equipement. We also considered the posibility of using a different type of equipement/software but determined that there were no alternate software solutions that would meet the need.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
