The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to negotiate with Integrated Dynamics Engineering located in Randolph, MA on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source, for Vibration Isolation Systems.
Specific Requirements are as follows:
IDE TCN 300 Active Isolation system. The system shall include four isolators with mechanical-pneumatic valves. Each isolator shall contain one vertical and one horizontal LM 115 motor. The system shall contain six geophone sensors mounted to the isolator top housing. The system shall contain three height control leveling MV-5 S-3 valves and six proximity sensors. The system shall include installation and tuning of the active isolation at NIST. PD50 Passive Isolations system. The system shall include three PD50 isolators. The PD50 modules shall have an operating height of 8.75” The PD50 modules shall have leveling feet and shall have a foot print no larger than 7.7” x 7.7” inches. The PD50 modules shall have a load capacity of 660 lbs at 90 psi per isolator.This shall be provided and accomplished in accordance with these specifications.

This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
