Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Humphrey's Engineer Center Support Activity (HECSA) awarded task order W912HQ25F0090 to Federal Express Corporation located at 3610 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125 on 18 May 2025 for a total award amount of $80,000. The order consists of a base period beginning on 18 May 2025 thru 8 Feb 2026. The requirement was for commercially hosted shipping, which consists of the following:
The contractor shall provide domestic and international shipping of publications to various USACE sites. Shipment method must provide continuous accountability; standard ground shipping is the preferred shipping method with the flexibility for overnight shipping as required; FEDEX is the only shipper who delivers to all needed USACE/Army locations.
In accordance with OMB Memorandum M-17-29, we are required to "leverage the Best in Class mandatory solution package delivery services" also known as the next generation Delivery Service 2 IDIQ Contract (HTC711-23-D-C023).
HECSA Contracting now intends to issue a modification to Task Order W912HQ25F0090 to add $75,000 in funding in order to allow the Publication Depot to complete shipping of publications to various USACE sites.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. All information received from this notice shall be used for planning and market research purposes only. The determination to refrain from competing proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or used of such information.
