Description
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Kayenta Health Center (KHC) located in/at Highway 160, Mile Post 394.3, Kayenta, AZ 86033, intends to award a non-competitive, sole source purchase order to Proposed Contractor, Werfen USA LLC, 180 Hartwell RD, Bedford, Massachusetts 01730-2433, UEI: JA87HT8KP2M2 for blood gas supplies for Werfen-s GEM Premier 5000 Blood Gas Analyzer as required by the Laboratory Department. The period of performance is 05/02/2025 to 05/01/2026.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Werfen USA LLC is uniquely qualified and the sole distributor to provide the required supplies for Werfen-s GEM Premier 5000 Blood Gas Analyzer to ensure that there is no interruption in services that could impact direct patient care.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Werfen USA LLC may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Flora Washington, Contract Specialist at flora.washington@ihs.gov by Friday, March 14th, 2025, 1:00 PM MST.

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
