The VA Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to issue a single source procurement to CareFusion Solutions LLC who is the equipment OEM authorized service representative. Proposed services contract is for Support and Services of Pyxis Equipment System, for a period of performance consisting of a base year, plus four one-year option periods. Due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, a manufacturer certified service technician is required to provide the services. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 811210 with a business size standard of $34.0 Million and PSC J065 Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies.The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This is a notice of intent to award a single-source procurement action and is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any potential sources other than CareFusion Solutions, LLC may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Gary Christensen, Contract Specialist at gary.christensen@va.gov by August 21st, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. PDT. Firms who want to challenge the single source must show clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide the services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW), and that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
