NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Auxiliary enclosure unit for CBS Mount RSK-PMTSOL No. 140R3025Q0085The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin (LCB), intends to negotiate and award a contract on a non-competitive basis, to CBS ArcSafe Inc, 2616 Sirius Road, Denton, TX 76208-1053. Yuma Area Office (YAO) has a requirement for a device that can be used to open or close the switches on the high voltage or primary side of a pad mount transformer without having to expose an electrician to the energized conductors on the transformer secondary. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authorities of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) identified for this action is 335999 ¿ All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 600 employees. This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Award is anticipated September 1, 2025, with an estimated delivery is 60 days ARO. The government contemplates a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order.This is a Notice of Intent only and not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, explanation, and evidence as to how your company will provide the required CBS ArcSafe Auxiliary enclosure RSK-PMT system which shall be considered by the agency. Submissions are due by July 17, 2025.The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through Contract Opportunities at www.SAM.gov.
