Description
The Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) intends to solicit and award a contract in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, to TTOS, Inc, Sierra Vista, AZ under the authority of FAR 6.302-1,Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
TTOS offers specialized jungle warfare training in a controlled environment via Contractor-provided instruction to include jungle patrolling, tracking, sustainment, communications, logistics, and infrastructure support for Reconnaissance Marines in an effort to bolster their ability to conduct operations in a non-permissive Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) environment. Specific operational safety and experience requirements exist to necessitate that this company which has the prerequisite knowledge and specifically the experience in the training environment of the jungle located on the island of Oahu be awarded this contract on a sole source basis. The anticipated period of performance is 21 APR 2025 - 25 APR 2025.
This is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, and information received from and organization before 0700 AM HST, Friday,14 MAR, 2025 that believes it can meet this requirement will be considered by the Government for a competitive procurement action.
