Description
The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The required robots must be quadrupled legged with measurements around 43 inches in length, 20 inches in width, and 7 inches to 28 inches (stationery and walking) in height, and weight less than 100 pounds. The payload must be a minimum of 20 kilograms, and provide an arm attachment. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Boston Dynamics, 200 Smith Street, Suite 4100, Waltham, Massachusetts, 02451-0099 for two (2) each Refurbished Spot Robot Enterprise Packages, Spot Enterprise Platform with Arms to include Samsung Tab Active 3 Tablets, Spot Chargers, Spot Batteries, Spot Calibration Boards, and Spot Battery and Charger Cases, Spot Tablet Controller Kits, two (2) year service plans, and spare Spot Batteries.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The Government does not intend to use Part 12 for this acquisition.
