Description
In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Vertiv Corporation.
The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center, intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Vertiv Corporation, PO Box 389, Ownings Mills, MD 21117.
The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC), Infrastructure Services - Data Center Infrastructure intends to purchase SiteScan 9.0 directly from the sole source provider, Vertiv. Vertiv is the original manufacturer of this product and is the sole provider of SiteScan 9.0 and its certified technicians.
All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than (NLT) 4:00PM EST on 4 April 2025.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to the Contract Specialist, Megan Maday, Email: Megan.L.Maday@uscg.mil and the Contracting Officer, Delton Brun, Email: Delton.L.Brun@uscg.mil with the Notice ID number referenced in the subject line.
