Tender are invited for The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) has assumed the responsibilities of the Federal Highway Administration under 23 U.S.C 327 and is soliciting public comments on an intended Section 4(f) de minimis impact finding for proposed impacts to the Delta Range Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA), specifically around the Castner Glacier Trails near MP 217 on the Richardson Highway. These impacts are part of a proposed project to reconstruct the Richardson Highway between MP 214 and 218, including the construction two new parking areas in the vicinity of Castner Creek. The Delta Range SMRA is protected under Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act of 1966.
