Tender are invited for NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES ON PAID SICK LEAVEIN THE REGULATIONS OF DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BRIEF DESCRIPTION The Department of Labor and Workforce Development proposes to adopt regulations on paid sick leave as approved under 2024 General Election Ballot Measure 1. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development proposes to adopt regulation changes in 8 AAC 15.100, 8 AAC 15.106 - 8 AAC 15.119, 8 AAC 15.126(a), and 8 AAC 15.160(h) of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with paid sick leave as approved under 2024 General Election Ballot Measure 1, including the following: 8 AAC 15.100, is proposed to be amended to calculate the regular rate in regard to sick leave and overtime. 8 AAC 15 is proposed to be amended by adding new sections 8 AAC 15.106 - 8 AAC 15.119 regarding sick leave language. (3) 8 AAC 15.126(a), is proposed to be amended to include language regarding sick leave with respect to an employee of a non-profit residential summer camp.
