This notice is posted to comply with Executive Order 14099, specifically the requirement to communicate the unenforcibility of FAR 52.223-99 DEV - FAR Deviation Clause Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors.
On May 9, 2023 President Biden issued Executive Order 14099 “Moving Beyond COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Federal Workers”. Pursuant to E.O. 14099 the USMS will not take any steps to require covered contractors and subcontractors to comply with any requirements implementing E.O. 14042, including the previously issued Safer Federal Workforce Task Force Guidance.
