The City of West Sacramento is preparing to release an RFP within the next couple months for updates/development of several transportation planning and analysis programs and documents to reflect the latest regulations and standards, and best plan for the current and future transportation and development needs for the City. This will tentatively include the following:City of West Sacramento Travel Demand Model Evaluation and DevelopmentEvaluate current travel demand model options from latest City of West Sacramento TDM and SACOG SACSIM Model.Refine or develop travel demand model for City of West Sacramento to meet the needs for evaluation of the Transportation Impact Fee program, the VMT Reduction and Mitigation Fee Program, as well asproviding structure to also evaluate the following elements:Additional land use scenarios for development beyond what is identified in the latest SACOG MTP/SCSSensitivity to travel modes (walking, biking, transit - BRT, Light Rail, Via)Streamline analysis for new development applicationsValidation to recent Citywide traffic count dataTransportation Analysis GuidelinesUpdate for latest CEQA standards and for general plan mobility element policiesTransportation Impact Fee ProgramUpdate impacts, fees, and identification/costs for transportation improvement projects, based on VMT as metricVMT Reduction and Mitigation Fee ProgramDevelop program for individual projects that have significant VMT impacts option to pay a fee toward Citywide VMT reduction projects.Will include public outreachIMPORTANT: THIS IS A NOTICE ONLY.
