Herning Avenue, Wasilla, Alaska 99654, applied for a permit to appropriate water on June 4, 2025. The application proposes the following:The withdrawal of up to 690,000 additional gallons/day from January 1st through December 31st each year from two drilled wells, 239 and 240 feet deep, located within Lot 7, Block 2 of Wasilla Woods Subdivision, according to the official plat thereof, filed as Plat No. 71-25, Palmer Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, to be used as a public water supply.The proposed place of use is within the legal boundaries of the City of Wasilla.Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections.
