The Alabama Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) require professional packing, moving, and storage services to facilitate the temporary relocation of office files, records, furniture, supplies, equipment, and other agency belongings. This effort is necessary to accommodate a major renovation project at the agency-s current facility. The renovation schedule is to be determined, and all items must be securely packed and stored for an estimated six-month period before being relocated back into the renovated office space and reassembled.
This solicitation number 12FPC425Q0043 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ), and the acquisition procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13 are being utilized. The Government anticipates issuing a FIRM FIXED PRICE purchase order. Award will be made to the responsible quoter whose quote responds to the terms of the RFQ and is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer to the Government. Pricing that is unrealistically low may be considered an indication that the Quoter does not possess adequate understanding of the requirement or the requisite technical capability to successfully perform the work.
