THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C2425B0022 - Project Number 561-25-101 Replace Flooring Bldg. 1, 4th floor at the VA New Jersey Healthcare Systems (NJHCS) East Orange Campus at 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange N.J. 07018.This requirement shall be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all responsible SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238330 and has a size standard of $19.0 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.3. Scope.Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing flooring, and furnish labor and materials to perform work for VA Project 561-25-101 Replace Flooring, Building 1, 4th Floor wings 4B and 4C as required by drawings and specifications.The flooring in rooms, corridors and areas to be replaced with Medical Grade seamless surface of new luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) with a continuous 6 base cove height at wall and built-in cabinets, with an approximate square footage of average 5,200 SF as per the attached drawings.Work shall be completed in multiple phases around clinical schedule as necessary, and only after hours and weekends (including holidays), in order to allow the service to continue to function at normal hours with little to no interruptions of patient service and access during project.Contractor shall field verify before bid the requirements to install flooring under and around the existing modular wall system (DIRTT System).Period of Performance.
