This acquisition is for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15; Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The Government is pursuing a Long Term Contract (LTC), for the duration of a three-year base and two, one year, option periods which will be extended in one-year increments at the discretion of the Government for a potential total of five (5) years. This acquisition will provide DLA Direct (Stocked) replenishment coverage in support of stocking military depots of certain part-numbered items that cross reference to NSNs 3040-01-442-9069 and 5330-01-504-2829. The approved manufacturer for these items is Fluid Handling, LLC CAGE 6LE50.

The solicitation will be issued as “Unrestricted”, using Other than Full and Open Competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”
Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
