SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Liquid Quantity Indicator, NSN: 6680-01-360-9451GA, P/N 20-246-01.
ITEM DESCRIPTION Receptacle I/O connection part number 109955-001 mates with connector (plug) MS27473E14A35S. Indicator is cylindrical and overall dimension mounting footprint body diameter is 1.940 inches, front face outer diameter is 2.00 inches; length including rear mounted connector is 8.10 inches maximum. Power consumption12.75 watts max. Daytime lighting power 2.46 Watts max; nighttime lighting power Watts max. Indicator is panel mounted liquid crystal display with MIL-L-85762 compliant nighttime lighting and high intensity daytime lighting. Indicator is designed for airborne installation. Indicator provides excitation and receives information from five full height compensated DC powered fuel probes. Indicator includes four analog displays to indicate percent fuel remaining in four ea. fuel cells and digital display, in pounds, total fuel remaining in the fuel cells. Indicator has continuous BIT capability with Fault Code readout on digital display. Indicator range +0.1 to +1500 pounds single scale.
INTEREST The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to ONTIC for the manufacture of the Liquid Quantity Indicator in support of the UH-1N helicopter program. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than Insert SSS closing date by emailing Rebekah Banks at rebekah.banks@us.af.mil and Christine Smith at Christine.Smith.20@us.af.mil.
