- The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to invite qualified vendors to submit bids to become the City of Seattles Official Newspaper. This successful bidder will be responsible for publishing all official proceedings as required by law. Per Article VII, Section 3, of the Charter of the City of Seattle, the City Official Newspaper shall be designated annually after a call for bids from the daily newspapers of general circulation published in the City at least six (6) days per week.Contract is utilized by many City departments and total annual usage is approximately $120,000.
