The justification for this non-competitive solicitation is due to Olympus America Inc, being the sole supplier of requested items to the VA Hospital. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with 1,000 employees. Sole source items: The items that will be purchased is a quantity of six (6) ENF-VH Flexible video HD Rhino Laryngoscopes.THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no Solicitation will be issued. Market research has determined that this product is highly specialized and only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of supply will satisfy agency requirements.
