Description:
The City of Sierra Vista is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call auto-body and collision repair services for the City-s fleet of vehicles. Services will cover a wide range of vehicles including passenger cars, light- and heavy-duty trucks, public safety vehicles (police, fire, and ambulance), buses, and other specialized equipment as needed.The selected contractor(s) will furnish all necessary labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials to perform high-quality repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner. Work may include, but is not limited to, collision repair, dent removal, frame straightening, body panel replacement, sanding, painting, refinishing, and restoration to manufacturer or industry standards.This is an on-call contract, meaning services will be requested as needs arise. Contractors must demonstrate the ability to respond promptly, accommodate varying levels of repair work, and ensure vehicles are returned to safe and fully functional condition.The City intends to establish a contract with one or more vendors for a fixed term, with optional renewals, to ensure availability of reliable repair services while maintaining fiscal responsibility and maximizing competition.
