Description:
The Vehicle and Equipment Services division of the County of San Mateos Department of Public Works provides motorpool services and vehicle and equipment procurement, maintenance, repair, registration, resale, and fueling services to County departments.The Department is seeking a firm or set of firms to perform upfitting services of public safety equipment for various classifications, types, and makes and models of vehicles as requested by the County of San Mateo, on an on-call or as needed basis. The selected firms should provide all equipment, materials and labor for upfitting vehicles with public safety equipment for various departments within the County for their operational needs. The target start of the contract term is October 21, 2025, with a term of five (5) years. The resulting contract(s) from this solicitation may be piggybacked by the twenty cities within the County of San Mateo or any other governmental agency.
