- The County of Sacramento Department of Animal Care Services (ACS) is seeking qualifications from veterinarians to provide relief veterinary services on an on-call (as-needed) basis. ACS employs three full-time veterinarians and seven registered veterinary technicians (RVT). When a veterinarian is absent, ACS has a need for contract veterinarians to perform spay/neuter surgeries, medical diagnostics and treatments.This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), only for Licensed Veterinarians. Services are to be provided in the COUNTY-S animal shelter at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento, California and other sites in the General Sacramento County Area.
