Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole sourcepurchase order to Brainlab Inc. at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC as part requirementof preventative maintenance for service contract covering radiosurgery X-ray extract tube from theDurham VA Health Care System (DURHCS).Period of performance will be for base year service. Justification for this sole source procurement is inaccordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted.However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant pastexperienceand expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficientdetail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered bythe Government however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisitionbased upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
