Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Eaton Aerospace, LLC., 3675 PATTERSON AVE SE GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49512-4022 (Cage Code: 17472) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. FRC South West, NAS North Island has a requirement for one-time repair service for the Eaton Feel Trim Actuator Test Bench. Eaton Aerospace, LLC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Feel Trim Actuator Test Bench and its accompanying components. The OEM retains proprietary knowledge of the presently installed test bench hence is the only known source capable of diagnosing and repairing the test bench. Eaton Aerospace, LLC is the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the Government's specific requirement and mission for this procurement. for this reason, the Government intends to procure this repair on a sole source basis from Eaton Aerospace, LLC (Cage Code: 17472). - Documents:
