***The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-s (NOAA) Acquisition & Grants Office (AGO), Western Acquisition Division-Boulder (WAD), Ocean Prediction Center (OPC), intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with NV5 Geospatial Solutions, Inc. located in Broomfield, CO for Environment for Visualizing Images (ENVI) software maintenance for ten (10) ENVI Concurrent Process Licenses.
***The sole source determination is based on NOAA-s requirement that NV5 Geospatial Solutions, Inc. is the only vendor that manufactures and distributes this Environment for Visualizing Images (ENVI) software maintenance. OPC USNIC already owns and is required to support the ten (10) ENVI Concurrent Process Licenses included within this Procurement Request. ENVI is a software application used to process and analyze geospatial imagery. ENVI software provides users with the ability to gain a better understanding of NOAA data and share that understanding with subject matter experts. The image analysis that ENVI software provides to NCEP OPC USNIC users supports the National Weather Service-s mission of protecting life and property. There is only one vendor who can support the software, which is the Manufacturer (NV5 Geospatial Solutions, Inc.). There are no other Brands available to ensure maintenance and sustainability of OPC USNIC-s pre-existing ENVI software licenses.
Period of Performance: date of award to 7/31/2030.
