Description:
The Office of Court Administration (OCA) on behalf ofthe Judicial Branch Certification Commission (JBCC) seeks proposals forexamination rating services for the oral examination for licensing languageinterpreters for court proceedings in accordance with the specificationscontained in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The examination is developed bythe National Center for State Courts (NCSC), and the rating services must berendered only by a Rater approved by NCSC. It is anticipated, but not guaranteedthat approximately 120 examinees will take the examination each year.Respondents may submit proposals to render ratingservices for oral examinations in one or more languages available through theNCSC. However, the JBCC has a specific need for approved Raters to rate oralexaminations in Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, and Vietnamese. The JBCC may selectmore than one NCSCapproved Rater to fulfill its need for rating services formore than one language.
