Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends tonegotiate a sole source contract with Fr. Partrick J. Wendler (SAM UEI: MWW7TJDCKML3).This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures asimplemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services willsatisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a Base plus four (4) Option Years Contract. The NAICS Code is 813110.The William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital requires a vendor who can provide services that are in accordance with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church from an ordained priest. In addition to being ordained by the Roman Catholic Church, experience providing these services to veterans is preferred. Vendors must provide proof of ordination through the Roman Catholic Church to be eligible for this requirement, and a letter of endorsement from the Diocese of Madison. Finally, all vendors must provide proof of the ability to be onsite within 2 hours of notification in emergency instances to provide last rites sacraments. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available andtelephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements itmust furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customerswho are using these services to the Contracting Officer by 10:00AM (CST) Friday,07/25/2025.Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with theabove requirements. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by thegovernment not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solelywithin the discretion of the Government.
