Description:
Richmond Public School District of Richmond, Virginia, acting through its Governing Board, hereafter referred to as the \"District\" is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms for the establishment for the development and implementation of out-of-school time (OST) programs that contributes to the improvement of student academic achievement and overall student success for students at all academic levels.The programs will address one or more of the following areas: Academic enrichment, STEM, sports and fitness, health and wellness, creative writing, music and arts, college and career readiness, leadership development/SEL, and family engagement. The services will be provided district wide for the School Board of the City of Richmond (School Board), a public body within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Contract award is contingent upon availability of funds. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, and to accept or reject any item, to withdraw a line item or entire RFP, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the RFP document(s). RPS reserves the right to make multiple awards in connection with this RFP. The District may award any, all or none of this RFP.The School Board of the City of Richmond does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, § 2.24343.1 or against a bidder or offeror because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by state law relating to discrimination in employment in the performance of its procurement activity.
