IntroductionThe VA Pittsburgh Healthcare Systems (VA PHCS) located at University Drive, Pittsburgh PA has a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (BNOE) requirement for one (1) outdoor, self-contained exercise unit for the Whole Health department. 2. Background and SpecificationsThe Whole Health department requires one additional outdoor, self-contained exercise unit for patient care. The unit will be placed outside in the outdoor rehab area. To meet spacing restraints, provider preference, and infection control guidelines, the brand name for reference is the Beaver Fit Shred Shed. Salient characteristics for an additional unit are: Customized Internal Storageo The inside of the unit must contain fabricated storage racks for theexternal functional training rig and included multi-modality fitness equipment.
